Fluid Mechanics

Research in the Fluid Mechanics Group involves both the theoretical and experimental aspects of the subject. Particular areas of interest within the group are hydrodynamic stability and coherent structures in turbulence, turbulence models and mixing, combustion and reacting flows, two phase flows, chaotic dynamics and applications, low Reynolds number flows, water waves and coastal processes, viscoelastic flows and elasticity.
