Academic background

I received my B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Illinois in May, 1993. While at Illinois I worked in the Center for Complex Systems Research under the supervision of Prof. Paul Newton who is now at the University of Southern California.

In the fall of 1993 I began my graduate work at Brown University in the Division of Applied Mathematics, and received my Sc.M. in Applied Mathematics in May, 1995.
