Academic Background
I graduated from the Department of Mechanical
and Aerospace Engineering at
Princeton University in June 1996. I finished
my Ph.D. in
absentia at Brown University with
Professor George Karniadakis. I
received my B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) degree from University of Melbourne in
Australia in 1986 and then worked for four years at the research
laboratories of the Broken Hill
Proprietary Company .
I am now doing a postdoc in the
Computational Mechanics Group in the
Division of Aeronautics at Caltech.
Research Interests
- Fluid/Structure Interactions
- Parallel Scientific Computations (particularly CFD)
- Iterative Solution Methods for Large Systems
