Homework #6

Solve the two-dimensional unsteady incompressible Navier-Stokes equations in different computational domains as suggested in the class. For example, consider the square cavity or grooved channel or flow past a square cylinder. Vary the Reynolds number as follows: $Re=0, \, 1, \, 100$. Also, check that you obtain resolution-independent results. It is recommended that you use a vorticity-streamfunction formulation with a semi-implicit time-stepping. However, other formulations are also acceptable.
